about EDIT27

EDIT27 is an international magazine covering travel, food, hospitality, fashion and culture. We publish restaurant features, hotel stories, essays and guides, with architecture and design running through much of what we do.

We enjoy getting into a subject. A private dining room can deserve an entire feature; so can the question of where to eat after midnight. We are interested in the history of an address, the people who run it and the decisions that shape the experience. There is room for a well-known hotel and a restaurant you may never have heard of. Neither gets our attention on reputation alone.

The magazine is for people who enjoy choosing where to go. You might build a trip around a particular reservation, return to a city for the third time or spend an afternoon somewhere you had not planned to visit. Our stories are written to be read for pleasure, and to be useful when you start making plans.
